Links Links to Learning Project
Links to Learning works with young people who experience multiple barriers to
and significant difficulties participating in mainstream education or training.
In 2004, the St George Youth Services (SYS) secured funding from the NSW
Department of Education & Training to run a Links to Learning Project in the
St George region for 12 months. Creative
Links was successfuly evaluated and since then has been re-funded each year. Creative
Links targets year 9 & 10 students (Language Other Than English) in 6 local high
schools who are at risk of leaving school early.

The
activities for 2008 include music production, outdoor adventure activities, art
and craft activities, circus skills, graphic design, sports, and much more.........
