ArtStart

ArtStart is a state-wide youth arts & skills festival that gives young people a chance to learn new arts and skills, to perform and showcase their talents, and to get experience in event management.

The next ArtStart Festival will be staged in 2005 - if you are interested in being involved, contact us!

Usually, youth services are funded by the NSW Dept of Education & Training to coordinate local or regional ArtStart Festivals - in 2003 the St George Youth Workers Network ran a regional Festival across the St George and Sutherland areas.

Previous ArtStart festivals featured a whole bunch of training and workshop opportunities and the chance for young people to get involved in planning and running the festival.

If you’re not sure what it’s all about, check out our gallery to see what went down in ArtStart 2003, 2001 and way back in 1999.
